Department of Preventive Medicine and Public Health
The Department of Preventive Medicine and Public Health is seeking talented faculty to build both research and educational programs in our rapidly growing public health program. The Department is the focal point for new initiatives to enhance public health education and research in the state and the region. We are actively seeking faculty with skills and experience in epidemiology, genetics, health services research, and environmental health. We are particularly interested in faculty with interdisciplinary experiences that can enhance our institutional and departmental priorities in cancer prevention and control, obesity, diabetes, neurosciences, cardiovascular disease, outcomes research, health disparities, infectious diseases, and injuries. The Department is home to a nationally-recognized Masters of Public Health program and a new Masters of Science in Clinical Research. Faculty are intimately involved in teaching in our School of Medicine.
