Evidence-Based Practice Manager


The American Dietetic Association, the world’s largest organization of food and nutrition professionals, is seeking an energetic, detailed-oriented individual with proven project management skills to fill the Evidence-Based Practice Manager position. The position will promote and support the implementation of evidence-based dietetics practice for ADA members and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Facilitate the initiatives and activities of the Evidence-based Practice Committee and the Dissemination and Workgroup Selection sub-committees
• Support the activities of the Evidence-based Practice Committee
• Manage the networks and facilitate the work of the network development group to implement guidelines
• Direct Evidence-based Toolkit usability tests and maintain policies and procedures
• Facilitate the dissemination/marketing strategies for the Evidence Analysis Library, and the Evidence-based Nutrition Practice Guidelines and Toolkits

Background Requirements:

• 3+ years of relevant work experience along with a Master’s degree in dietetics/food and nutrition, public health or business administration are required
• Registered Dietitian credential is preferred
• Must have strong, effective verbal and written communication skills
• Must be proficient with the Microsoft Office products and web-based applications; familiarity with ADA’s Evidence Analysis Library a plus
• The successful candidate will have proven experience with project management, an understanding of the technical aspects of evidence-based analysis
• Candidate will work out of the Chicago office with minimal travel; 2-3 meetings per year
