Salary Range: $15.67/hr. to $26.15/hr.
Expected Hiring Range: $18.03/hr. to 19.23/hr.
Work Schedule/Location: 40-hour work week during the hours of 8:30a.m.-5:15p.m. Mon.-Fri. with one Saturday per month and one evening per week, with corresponding time off during week days/Public Health Center (10 Sunnybrook Road, Raleigh, NC)

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Nutrition and one year of experience as a nutritionist; or equivalent. Eligibility for certification as a Registered Dietitian.

Special Requirements: A valid driver's license and a "safe" driving record required. A criminal record check will be conducted.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a public health setting and knowledge of WIC programs preferred.

Duties: Assess WIC Program applicants' and participants' nutritional needs and eligibility based on anthropometric, biochemical, clinical and socioeconomic data; develop plan of care, provide individualized nutrition counseling, document information on electronic care plans and medical records and make appropriate referrals; work with team in providing nutrition education to groups of participants and consult with providers as needed.

Notes: 2 positions. Requires occasional use of personal automobile.
