If you are selected for this position, your duties will include but are not limited to the following: · Provide individual nutrition care to patients; screening newly admitted patients and gaining pertinent background information and diet history to assess the medical and research care priorities; providing all components of the Nutrition Care Process (assessment, diagnosis, intervention, and monitoring/evaluation) to patients. · Actively participates in the health care team by attending rounds, advising and informing the multidisciplinary health care team about the patient's nutritional care and nutrition research issues. · Provide nutrition research services to support protocols in assigned areas. This may include research design, protocol management, data collection, reporting body composition assessment, and administering and analyzing food questionnaires. · Direct the Health Technicians (Dietetics) in the management of nutritional care and research support. · Provide training and in-service for medical/professional staff, dietetic interns, students and support personnel |
