About the Food Shuttle and Operation Frontline:
Since 1989, the Inter-Faith Food Shuttle (IFFS), in the belief that hunger is unacceptable, alleviates hunger by developing systems to recover, prepare and distribute wholesome, perishable food for the area's poor, hungry, undernourished and homeless neighbors.

Operation Frontline (OFL), developed nationally by Share our Strength and presented locally by IFFS, is a ground-breaking cooking-based nutrition education program for families in need. The goal is to create a long-term solution to hunger by giving people the confidence and ability to be more self-sufficient in their food choices and behaviors.

IFFS is constantly striving to increase the number of families who benefit from Operation Frontline’s cooking-based nutrition education. One innovative approach that has proven effective for several Operation Frontline (OFL) programs across the country is establishing “satellite partnerships.”
By establishing satellite partnerships, the Inter-Faith Food Shuttle will be able to:
Serve more families and individuals without increasing our staff
