Qualifications: Applicants must have knowledge of basic culinary practices and food safety standards. Must be comfortable in the kitchen, as well as working with children ages 8-16. Must possess a mature and flexible personality. Teaching Experience preferred.
Responsibilities: Are you excited about food and cooking? Do you love kids? Then join us as we develop and implement a children's Culinary Arts Nutrition curriculum as a part of this year's Summer Art Camp at the Wayne Art Center. Culinary Educators will be expected to work as part of a small team to develop, and put into practice a new program of classes to be offered to kids and teens this summer. Experience in cooking and working with children preferred. Summer Art Camp classes run from June 7th-August 27th 2010, with a possibility of continued classes to be offered year around.
