Department of Human Nutrition Part-time Term Instructor/Assistant Professor Position
Clinical Nutrition emphasis
Description of position: The Department of Human Nutrition has an Instructor/Assistant Professor opening as a ¾ time 9 month term- position with benefits to teach on-campus and distance courses. The faculty member chosen will teach a two semester sequence of clinical nutrition on-campus as well as offer it via distance. This candidate will also teach lifespan nutrition and public health nutrition via distance.
Qualifications: A MS in Human Nutrition or Dietetics, Registered Dietitian credential. Five years of relevant clinical nutrition/dietetics experience, previous classroom (2 years) teaching experience at the college level ,familiarity or ability to teach using distance formats required.
Salary: Commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Preferred: A PhD in Human Nutrition and/or Dietetics; experience with online distance teaching. Assistant Professor rank requires an earned doctorate.
